Update for Owners and Holidaymakers
16th July 2021
Government regulations on COVID-19 change frequently. Before you travel, you need to ensure you have checked and understood the relevant regulations applicable to you, your location, your destination, and the make-up of your party as it is your responsibility to comply. Please familiarise yourself with the relevant government regulations.
On Monday (12th July 21), the Prime Minister made it very clear in his announcement that the pandemic is still with us. Whilst most legal restrictions will be eased from this Monday (19th July 21), he also emphasised that our collective responsibility is to all do our part in keeping everyone as safe as possible.
With cases of COVID increasing currently throughout the country, we are making some tough decisions that we feel are right for our owners, our team, and our business. Essentially, this means that we are stepping away from restrictions cautiously.
Use of Face Coverings & Hand Hygiene
We firmly believe that it would be best, and ultimately the safest practice, for face coverings to continue to be worn beyond the 19th July.
Until further notice, our policy will continue to insist that all team members, owners and guests use a suitable face covering when indoors within a Leisure Resort facility, this includes our restaurants, reception etc.
In addition, we will continue to provide hygiene stations across all high footfall areas & actively encourage everyone who visits our parks to maintain good hand hygiene practices.
We will continue to offer the online check-in function for all owners and holidaymakers.
Whether you choose to utilise this is ultimately your decision, however, we would strongly encourage the continued use of this function to record stays should it ever be needed by the NHS or other bodies.
Owners: Your online check-in is easily accessible through the Leisure Resorts app.
Holidaymakers: Your online check-in link will be sent to you in an SMS prior to your stay
Bars & Restaurants
Due to the pandemic, the hospitality service sector is experiencing a shortage of staff, and this coupled with ongoing isolation requirements for our existing team members, has impacted all our bars & restaurants. We would like to assure you that we are doing our utmost to minimise any impact on your restaurant experience and that we remain committed to always offering as complete a service as possible.
We have adapted to a more flexible approach to ensure the best service is provided, so there may be slight changes to menus and opening times, but we will strive to communicate these to you at the earliest possibility, and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
All our bars & restaurants will be continuing to run a table service & order via the app service only. Please note, orders placed at the bar will not be accepted.
As mentioned above, our team members will continue to wear face coverings. In the interest of ensuring all our guests feel safe whilst with us, we kindly ask that anyone visiting our restaurants also continues to wear a face mask, unless exempt.
We feel that these are the safest and most responsible approaches, especially given the projected rise in cases beyond the 19th of July.
Finally, by means of a polite reminder, for the safety of all, we ask that you do not visit any Leisure Resorts parks should you develop any symptoms associated with COVID.
We thank you in advance for your continued understanding and agreement on these matters.
