Easter discounts at North York Moors Railway
Enjoy a steam train ride with all the family at the heart of the North York Moors National Park. Take in some of the best views the UK has to offer, including Goathland Railway Station – an iconic filming location used in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone – as well as sites including Pickering Castle and historic Whitby. Easter Egg Hunt at Ormesby Hall
Only a 15-minute drive from Angrove, families can enjoy a fun day out at Ormesby Hall, covering the first three weekends in April from 10:30am until 4pm. Explore the beautiful gardens with 10 trail points to find along the way, along with a range of other activities, including wheelbarrow and egg and spoon races. For more information, click here.
Guisborough Forest and Walkway
If you’re looking for picturesque countryside walks over Easter, Guisborough Forest and Walkway is one of a number of perfect options on Angrove’s doorstep! Enjoy a picnic or a bike ride through the woodlands, or take a look at the restored railway carriage. The forest also has onsite facilities, including two play areas, a sculpture trail, circular waymarked walks and bike trails, and an orienteering course
Easter Adventure Quest at Whitby Abbey
From Saturday 1st to Thursday 6th April, and Tuesday 11th to 16th April, Whitby Abbey is hosting an ‘eggstravagant’ Easter Adventure Quest running from 10am until 5pm each day. Explore the grounds to hunt for clues and challenges, and discover traditional Easter games like egg rolling and the egg and spoon race! Perfect for families, adventurers will be rewarded with a certificate and a tasty chocolate treat from Love Cocoa.
And if that’s not enough, we are also getting in the Easter spirit here at Angrove!
Guests can join us for a special afternoon tea at our on-site G&Tea House which is being served until 8pm on Easter Sunday! Plus, if you’re staying with us over the Easter weekend, we’ve got plenty of activities that we’d love for you to get involved in, including an Easter egg hunt, mini golf competition and birds of prey presentation.
