Where are the luxury lodges for sale at Aysgarth in the Yorkshire Dales?

Our luxury lodges for sale in the Yorkshire Dales are located at Westholme Bank, Leyburn, DL8 3SP — nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and just one mile from the world-famous Aysgarth Falls. Owners wake up to views of rolling hills and dry-stone walls, with Wensleydale, Bolton Castle and the Wensleydale Railway all within a short drive. It’s one of the most picturesque settings of any holiday lodge resort in the Yorkshire Dales.

How close are the Aysgarth lodges to Aysgarth Falls?

The Aysgarth lodges are about one mile — roughly a 15-minute walk — from Aysgarth Falls, the famous three-stepped waterfalls on the River Ure made even more recognisable as a filming location in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. From your lodge, you can walk straight along Freeholders’ Wood Local Nature Reserve to reach the falls, making Aysgarth lodge ownership a uniquely well-placed base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

What luxury lodges for sale in the Yorkshire Dales does Aysgarth offer?

Aysgarth offers a hand-picked collection of turnkey luxury lodges for sale in the Yorkshire Dales, with everything included so you can step straight into lodge life. Prices currently start from £59,950 for our One Bed Scandinavian Style Lodge and range up to £159,999 for the Prestige Hampton, with two-bedroom Aspire Muskoka and Prestige Studio lodges in between. Every lodge is stylishly furnished, with modern amenities and top-of-the-line finishes throughout.

Is Aysgarth a 5-star holiday park?

Yes — Aysgarth is a multi-award-winning 5-star holiday park and is proudly recognised as the “ultimate holiday experience” set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. We’ve also earned multiple David Bellamy Conservation Awards for our sustainability work, our protection of wildlife habitats and our care for the surrounding Yorkshire Dales landscape — recognition that matters to owners looking for a park with genuine green credentials.

Are dogs welcome at Aysgarth holiday lodges?

Yes — Aysgarth is a pet-friendly holiday lodge resort, so your dog is welcome to come and explore the Yorkshire Dales with you. We have a dog agility course and dog wash facilities on site for all our owners to use for free. With Aysgarth Falls, Freeholders’ Wood and miles of National Park walking just outside the park gates, there’s no shortage of places for muddy paws and good views. Many of our owners say their dogs settle into Aysgarth almost faster than they do.

What facilities can owners enjoy at the Aysgarth lodge resort?

Aysgarth owners enjoy a full on-site lifestyle alongside their lodge — including the Falls End Bar & Restaurant (with exclusive owner discounts), Farmer Jacks shop in the reception for everyday essentials and local Yorkshire Dales produce, our nine-hole Adventure Golf course, a children’s playground and free Wi-Fi across the park. It’s everything you need on the doorstep of your luxury lodge.

What is there to do near the Aysgarth lodges in the Yorkshire Dales?

There’s an enormous amount to do near the Aysgarth lodges. Within a short drive you’ll find the world-renowned Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes (3 miles), the medieval Bolton Castle (4 miles), the heritage Wensleydale Railway from Redmire (5 miles), The Forbidden Corner — voted the best children’s attraction in Yorkshire (8 miles) — and of course Aysgarth Falls itself, just a mile from the park. It’s a brilliant base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

What’s the difference between Aysgarth holiday lodges and traditional Yorkshire Dales holiday cottages?

The main difference is ownership and lifestyle. Aysgarth holiday lodges are luxury lodges you own outright, set within a 5-star lodge resort with a 12-month season, on-park amenities and concierge-style support — whereas a Yorkshire Dales holiday cottage is typically rented per stay with no community, no on-park facilities and no asset to use whenever you choose. With an Aysgarth lodge, the Yorkshire Dales becomes your second home, not a holiday let. You can find out more on this in our Ownership Hub.

Can I rent out my Aysgarth lodge when I’m not using it?

Yes — many Aysgarth owners sublet their luxury lodge through Leisure Resorts holidays when they aren’t using it, which can help offset annual site fees and running costs. Aysgarth Leisure Resort is a well-established hot-tub short breaks destination in the Yorkshire Dales, so demand for stays remains strong year-round. Our team will walk you through subletting potential as part of your VIP tour.

How do I book a viewing of the lodges for sale at Aysgarth?

You can book a VIP tour of Aysgarth by calling 01969 663 268 or requesting a brochure online — and we’ll arrange a personal walk-through of the park, the Aysgarth Falls area, and the luxury lodges for sale in the Yorkshire Dales that match your budget and lifestyle. In-person and virtual tour slots are typically available within the next four weeks.
