From your first enquiry to collecting the keys, our friendly team is here to support you every step of the way, offering honest advice, zero hard-sell tactics, and complete transparency.
Below, we outline the key stages in the ownership journey so you know exactly what to expect when you choose to make a Leisure Resorts holiday lodge your home-from-home.
Step 1: Make an Enquiry
Depending on the nature of a request and preferences, a member of our sales team will reach out to discuss ownership options in more detail. While we hope this hub provides comprehensive information, we encourage using this engagement as an opportunity to ask anything else. Our team is genuinely here to help.
As an enquirer, contact details will be added to our database to receive occasional communications from us about Leisure Resorts, our parks, ownership options, and sometimes holidays. We take privacy seriously. For further information on how personal data is used, including how we may contact you with marketing communications, please refer to our Privacy Policy. Consent can be amended or withdrawn at any time by contacting us.

Step 2: Park Visits and Choosing a Lodge
We highly recommend visiting a preferred park(s) to truly experience the atmosphere, explore the facilities, and view available pitches/lodge holiday homes firsthand. A park visit can be booked by clicking on our ‘Book a Tour’ option or by contacting the park sales team directly.
During a visit, our friendly team will sit down to discuss specific requirements. An escorted tour of the park will then be provided, viewing a hand-picked selection of lodges that meet needs, preferences, and budget. Our appointments are always hassle-free, and our team will never use any hard-sell tactics. If, at any point during a visit, you feel mistreated or that the information presented is inaccurate, we urge you to report this immediately to the park’s General Manager or Assistant General Manager.

Step 3: Proceeding with a Purchase
Once you are ready to proceed with a purchase, documentation will be prepared. An invitation will be extended to attend a Welcome Meeting – usually conducted by the park’s General Manager or Assistant General Manager. Here, every aspect of the paperwork will be walked through, clarifying key points such as depreciation, site fees, and holiday use.
They will also guide through the ‘Promise Sheet’, a crucial document that lists everything that has been discussed, agreed, included, or promised as part of the sale. We ask that careful attention be paid to this, as items or promises not included in this document may not be considered once signed. This document further demonstrates our honest values and commitment to full transparency. If all is satisfactory, an invitation will be extended to sign the documentation.

Step Four: Deposits and Finance
Securing a lodge purchase typically requires a deposit, usually around 10% of the purchase price, once selection and necessary documentation are complete. Leisure Resorts is here to assist with this significant step, offering information and guidance on finance options for lodge ownership and connecting prospective owners with reputable lenders such as Santander.
For ultimate peace of mind and complete confidence in a decision, Leisure Resorts provides a market-leading 14-day cooling-off period. If a decision is made not to proceed with the holiday home purchase within this timeframe, a full refund will be processed, typically within seven working days. Step 5: Pre Handover and Handover
Once the above steps are complete, the new owner will be passed to our dedicated Owner Services team. They, along with the sales team, will attend to all agreed arrangements, regularly providing updates on progress. They will also confirm a suitable date to complete the handover.
