That’s why we offer some of the most generous and straightforward licence tenures in the industry, giving you clarity, security, and the freedom to truly settle in and make your lodge your own.

In this article, we explain how our licence periods work, what they mean for new and pre-owned lodges, and how we support you as your agreement reaches its later years.

Clear Terms. Long-Term Enjoyment

At Leisure Resorts, we offer a refreshingly different approach to licence tenures. We believe you should enjoy your holiday home for many years to come.

For ultimate peace of mind, all our new lodges purchased from October 2025 come with an extensive initial licence of 50 years. This applies to every new model (2025 MY onwards) regardless of whether it’s a single, double or super lodge, securing your lodge holiday home for a full half century.

For pre-owned lodges, the licence period is simply the original ‘new’ licence period, minus the years from its manufacture date. For example, if a pre-owned lodge was purchased in 2025 that was manufactured in 2019, the owner would benefit from a 44-year licence period (50 years – 6 years).

As your initial licence period approaches its end, our park team will proactively contact you to discuss the future of your holiday home on the park. We will explore all available options, which could include considering a new licence agreement, subject to satisfactory safety checks and conditions, ensuring your continued enjoyment of your holiday home.
